THE Pipe wacher
The Pipe Watcher arealy preventiv water leacks, monitors water flow, consumption, and temperature in pipes using advanced Time-of-Flight technology. Sends alerts across the entire plumbing system in your home.
Prevents Water Leaks: Detects irregularities in flow and pressure to stop leaks before they cause damage. Monitors Water Usage: Tracks consumption for cost savings and sustainability. Reduces Organic Growth: Identifies conditions that promote biofilm and bacteria growth, keeping pipes clean. Non-Intrusive Installation: Clamps onto pipes without interrupting water flow. Versatile Compatibility: Supports DN15–DN40 pipes made of PEX, PEX-AL, copper, and PE. Reliable Connectivity: Offers LoRaWAN and WiFi communication for real-time alerts and data integration. Flexible Power Options: Operates with USB-C power or AA batteries. Compact Design: Slim and easy to install, even in tight spaces.
The Pipe Watcher Clamp offers flexible power solutions, operating either via: USB-C external power supply Two AA alkaline batteries When an external power source is connected, it takes precedence over battery power, maximizing efficiency and battery life. The measurable pipe diameters for different materials are: Steel: 26 mm, 33 mm, 42 mm, 56 mm Copper: 33 mm, 42 mm, 56 mm PEX: 33 mm, 42 mm, 56 mm PP: 33 mm, 42 mm, 56 mm Pipes with a diameter of 20 mm are not measurable for any material. The smallest measurable diameter is 26 mm for steel, and the largest is 56 mm for all materials.
LoRaWAN Operates as a Class A LoRaWAN device. Controlled via LoRaWAN commands, requiring network coverage (e.g., The Things Network). Alternatively, a dedicated LoRaWAN gateway can be installed for private network coverage. WiFi Communicates with the TEK-Zence cloud platform, providing real-time updates accessible via a free app for mobile devices or PCs. Supports integration with MQTT servers or smart home systems using JSON-based Webhook communication. The Pipe Watcher Clamp exemplifies TEK-Zence's commitment to delivering innovative, user-friendly solutions for building maintenance and damage prevention.
